This is after the great car and motor racing artist Lee Fearnley. artist Motor racing at night requires a special kind of dedication. Both from the racers, marshals, officials and spectators. I tried to capture elements of all this, plus the snowy weather, in this painting. It's hard to pick my favourite element in this image, but there is something I like about the two figures on the left, in the dark, in the cold. As I painted this image, I kept feeling that this is a place I want to be at... Acrylic on stretched canvas. 40 x 30 cm.
